

GRE is a thoroughly designed multiple choice questions(MCQs) based examination to check your verbal, quantitative and analytical skills. GRE is basically a Computer Adaptive Test(CAT) nowadays though it followed Pencil-Paper pattern a couple of years ago.
The CAT GRE General Test will have three or four sections.
There will always be :
- A Verbal Section (30 Questions- 30 Minutes)
- Quantitative Section (28 Questions - 45 Minutes)
- An Analytical Writing Section composed of two tasks (75 Minutes)
- An undefined experimental section, which could be a second verbal or quantitative section.
- An identified optional Research section.
